Just Swim Launch NEW Website & App!
Just Swim have launched a new Website and App.
They've developed these to help people discover all the amazing benefits of swimming and encourage them to grab their cossie and head to the pool.
The app can be downloaded from the App store or Google Play and provides a great new platform to log swims, set goals and complete challenges. It is the perfect tool for the more novice swimmer who wants to challenge themselves (in Insight-speak, the Wellbeing Wannabes, the Restorative Swimmer and Fitness Focused swimmers).
The Just Swim app has three key sections:
• Calorie burn goals: suggests the right swim routine to burn off the calories gained from, amongst other things, a night out, a Friday Takeaway or a bar of chocolate.
• Distance goals: a range of challenges to get people to swim further including the Swim 400 (400m in one go like Becky Adlington or four 100m like Adam Peaty), the Three Peaks Challenge (3,000m in three weeks or less), and the Half Marathon (21,125m).
• Tips and advice for a better lifestyle: practical advice and support; links through to longer articles from the Just Swim website.
