 ** Fit4Women 2014 - Conference Schedule Announced **

WSFF is pleased to announce the conference schedule for Fit4Women 2014. Delivered in partnership with The English Federation of Disability Sports and Sporting Equals, and with the evening programme designed in collaboration with sports coach UK, Fit4Women takes cutting-edge research and transforms it into actionable practice.

This year, Fit4Women will be delivered across three regions
London on 21st February, in association with Pro-Active East London;
Coventry on 24th February, in association with CSW Sport; and,
Bristol on 26th February in association with WESport, with two conferences each day, designed for different audiences.
 

** Daytime Programme**
10am - 4pm

Focussing on Marketing & Communications, Female Friendly Activity and Retention Strategies for women and girls. By the end of the daytime conference, you will:

Be inspired by a new way of understanding women and girls and how this could impact your delivery of sport and physical activity
Feel capable of challenging the status quo around engaging women and girls
Be able to identify practical delivery methods and tools to take back to your workplace
Have seen how local women and girls have been successfully engaged and retained in sport
Have identified opportunities for partnership working

** Evening Programme**
6pm - 9pm

Specifically designed with sports coach UK for anyone engaged in coaching females - male or female, as well as female coaches, regardless of who they coach. By the end of the evening conference, you will:

  • Have enhanced your understanding of the current coaching landscape and its relationship with female participation
  • See insight that will help you think differently about your coaching
  • Be able to recognise what you can do to welcome more women into coaching
  • Be asked to make a pledge to help make a difference
