Back to netball! County festivals now scheduled
England Netball's successful 'Back to Netball' initiative has been running in different parts of the county for a few years now and has encouraged nearly 40,000 women across England to take part in this fabulous Sport.
A couple of county festivals have been scheduled, which provide those who have had a gentle introduction (or re-introduction) to the sport with an informal, fun opportunity to play games against other Back to Netballers from other places.

As with the Back to Netball sessions, the festivals are for female over 16 years of age who are not affiliated and playing in the local league. The ethos is all about having fun and playing games!
Fern Nicholls, Cornwall Netball Development Officer for England Netball said 'Back to Netball' continues to be a roaring success. It's great that so many are falling back in love with the game. The festivals themselves are fantastic as they add to the Back to Netball experience through providing participants with a platform in which to put into practice the skills acquired at the sessions whilst having a lot of fun and meeting other Back to Netballers!
The events have been organised together with the Cornwall Sports Partnership who aim to increase participation in sport and physical activity in the county. Natasha Howard, Partnership Development Officer said 'Back to Netball is a great programme helping women rediscover how much fun they had playing netball at school, in a social and friendly environment whilst also getting fitter. The festivals are an opportunity for women of all ages to come along and get involved'.
If you would like to get involved, please complete the registration form and return it to Fern Nicholls by Tuesday 11th February 2014.
