scUK - Safeguarding & Protecting Children in Sport 1
(requirement for Clubmark)
Suitable for those who have never completed a Safeguarding & Protecting Children in Sport workshop before. Provides information and good practice linked to procedures for protecting children from abuse.
Candidates under the age of 16 are not permitted to attend this course; 16-18 years of age can attend but must be accompanied by an appropriate adult.

NEW! scUK - Safeguarding & Protecting Children in Sport 2 Refresher
sports coach UK is delighted to announce a new way learners can renew their safeguarding training.
SPC 2 Refresher is now available online and coaches that need to renew their SPC can book an online course and update their qualification at a time to suit themselves.
Who is it for?
The eLearning is suitable for you if you're a coach, student, sports official, sport leader, parent or volunteer, aged 18 or over and have already attended the 'Safeguarding and Protecting Children' (SPC1) workshop.
* Check with your governing body of sport for further information, and to ascertain whether or not it recognises completing the eLearning as an appropriate way to renew your safeguarding training.

N.B. All participants at sports coach UK workshops receive a certificate of attendance. All certificates are sent to the participant after the workshop. Please allow 6-8 weeks (from the workshop date) for your certificates to arrive.

SAFEGUARDING AND PROTECTING CHILDREN & UNDER 18s
Under 18s who are required to attend this workshop must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This person could be their parent, mentor, teacher, coach etc. It is not a requirement that the responsible adult attends as a paying delegate. If the adult does not wish to participate or receive a certificate and resource, then they will not be asked to pay.
