We want to help you ensure you're providing a safe space for people to play sport and be active in.
Safeguarding, whether for volunteers, participants, spectators or athletes, is a key responsibility for every sports club. Everyone has a role to play in keeping others safe and should know what to do if they have any concerns.
A key part of safeguarding children and young people is spreading the message about keeping them safe and building a culture of always acting in their best interests. ClubMatters have broken down some advice and tips around key safeguarding principles into a simple and easy-to-follow infographic which can be found here
It guides you on how to practically put safeguarding policies into place and ensure that all your members and participants are aware of the policies and how they can affect them.
