The Inclusive Schools Sports Coordinator will work on the delivery of our Round the World Challenge (RTWC) programme, piloting the model in schools across Cornwall between October 2018-July 2019. The programme has run nationally with our services and local groups targeting adults with learning disabilities with great success however we now wish to pilot RTWC within schools, targeting 12-16 year olds in inclusive groups.
The aim of the project is to increase participation and levels of physical activity, build confidence, team work and communication skills as well as building inclusive peer groups where people without learning disabilities will gain awareness of and form positive attitudes towards PWLD.
