Working with our key partners (Sport England, LLEP, City/County/District Local Authorities) Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) are seeking to recruit an outstanding individual to join our extended team. You will work with a range of external partners (SME, LAs, Job Centre Plus, voluntary sector partners, suppliers, consultants and contractors).
This new post will create a single point of access to help sport businesses grow. Fundamental to the success will be the delivery of the recently adopted Sport and the Economy Action Plan. We want to unlock the potential of Leicestershire and Leicester brand as one of the premier locations for sport and physical activity in England, embedding this into our culture, ways of working and DNA.
We are looking for someone who can help shape Sport Businesses, improve their competitiveness and innovation. We need some dynamic thinking to unlock the potential of tomorrow's workforce, while helping us to enhance our place and profile.
As a key Relationship Manager you will be based at the award winning SportPark, based at Loughborough University and your role will be to lead and co-ordinate the development, review and implementation of the Sport & the Economy Growth Plan. Helping to position sport and physical activity as a key sector growth within the Leicester and Leicestershire Economic Partnership priority.
